Want to make sure you won't miss any Avocode love letters? Don’t want to find out that they were junked? Whitelist Avocode! Here are simple instructions on how to ensure that our future email gets delivered straight to your inbox in some of the most popular email clients.
Apple mail (OS X and iOS devices)
Apple Mail on OSX and Mail on iOS devices have a similar process for adding senders to Contacts. Simply select the From, or Reply-to on and email message and you can choose to “Add to Contacts”, or even “Add to VIPs” if you really love Avocode. If you choose to “Add to VIPs”, all our future emails will be send to a special VIP mailbox in iOS Mail.
Gmail (webmail and mobile)
Getting all future emails from Avocode to appear in the “Primary” tab (instead of “Promotions”, or elsewhere) is a quick process. Firstly, drag-and-drop the email message from beneath the tab it’s currently filed under, to the "Primary” tab:
Once you’re done, a message alert will appear with, “This conversation has been moved to Primary. Do this for all future messages from firstname.lastname@example.org?”. Don’t hesitate and select “Yes” to get all our cool emails.
Unfortunately, Gmail on mobile devices doesn’t provide a way to prioritise messages. However, touching “Show images,” then “Always show images from Avocode Team” will ensure that the images always display in the inbox.
Android (Default client)
On Android devices, open the email message and touch the picture of Avocode Team that displays before the message. Touch “Add to Contacts”.
After opening Avocode email message, an alert message should display with “Parts of this message have been blocked for your safety.” Beneath this click the link with “I trust email@example.com. Always show content.”
In the preview pane for an opened email message in AOL Mail, select From Avocode Team firstname.lastname@example.org under the email’s subject line and select “Add Contact” from the drop-down menu.
When you open an Avocode email, a “+” symbol should display next to From: Avocode Team. Select this and an “Add to Contacts” pop-up should appear. Select “Save”.
